Many interests, no clear path? Why my restart isn’t linear

Sometimes it's not easy to stay focused.

What does it mean to be a multipotentialite?

I’m interested in many things.

I get excited quickly and really throw myself into things. I invest in materials and time. But sometimes I lose interest just as fast.

Why my path is not straightforward

For a long time, I saw this as a flaw.

I doubted myself for not having a single, clear path. For trying things and letting them go again. So my path was quite zigzagged, and I often took two steps forward and one step back.

It was never really comfortable, and I had to listen to a lot of negative comments about it.

Trying things out as a necessary phase

Looking back, this phase was valuable. Because only through exploring did I learn what helps me stay focused. And also how I manage to combine my various interests and skills.

Versatility as a strength in a new beginning

My path is not straight. It includes loops, pauses and changes of direction. And today, that is its strength. Because it has more volume, more depth and more of my personality.
