Each of these collages is created intuitively without a previous concept. I only set myself the limit of using only one type of flower. To do this, I need a large number of pictures, from which I select the one with which I then start my collage. But as the work progresses, I need many more images, often just a tiny part of a photo.
Dieser Prozess führt mich in viele verschiedene Richtungen. Es entstehen Collagen, die näher an der “wirklichen” Natur angesiedelt sind, aber überwiegend solche, die keine Verbindung mehr zur realen Abbildungen von Pflanzen in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung haben. Das ist auch so gewollt.
